Award Winning
Fresh Home Grown
Christmas Trees
in the Surrey Hills and Kent

The weather is glorious. Usually when there is a Bank Holiday it rains!
Last weekend we donated 3 of our trees for a village event "Cranleigh Bounces Back". The trees were decorated with pom poms and little notes from visitors. They looked so pretty. The event was a great success and has hopefully brought people back on to our High Street
At the moment we are busy keeping the weeds at bay in the plantations. The Christmas trees are about to "flush", which means they are having a growth spurt! They look so pretty with the little lime green buds on the tips of the branches, but can look a little sad as well as they are a bit droopy.
As promised I am starting to look at the many Christmas traditions around the world. This month we are looking at Japan.
They don't really celebrate Christmas on the same scale as we do, they have some gift giving and they have light displays. One Christmas traditions fast becoming popular is a Christmas day feast of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC).
As I am not a fan of turkey we have a joint of lamb or similar for Christmas dinner with all the usual vegetables. For pudding it has to be a merinque pavlova mmm my mouth is watering just writing it down!
What do you have for Christmas Dinner?
What traditions do Sweden have? Find out next month.
