Storm Doris

Storm Doris didn't last long but she certainly left her impression on Santa Fir
When Storm doris hit Cranleigh last week it shook our wooden office and for a moment we felt a bit like Dorothy from "The Yellow Brick Road". At one point I felt sure we would be swept away to the land of Oz.
We did quite well compared to the poor reindeer who had a lucky escape from a falling tree.
The reindeer immediately put it to good use as a lovely scratching post for their troublesome antlers. The tree has now been cut down to stop any problems with the fencing.
However I don't think our poor chickens faired quite so well!
Nor did the little hut by the Santa Express!
The boys are hard at work putting it all back to normal.
